Erin and I still haven’t decided on a name so we’re throwing the list up on the internet to see what name is the most popular. Â Of course, we have final say in what our first born’s handle is going to be, but we’ll pretend this is a democratic process for now. Â You can pick two names, a first and middle. Â If you don’t like any names on the list, leave your suggestion in the comments below.

As grandma…my vote should count for two.
We’ll see…
Scott!! Love the name 🙂 🙂 (heehee its my first born’s name 🙂 :))
LOL
oh..and my cousin’s name is Seamus….YIKES!!! LOL
Please don’t name him Evan! I had a horrible, awful, mean boyfriend in high school named Evan! I LOVE Silas. We are fans of Jack too!
One of our sons is John Silas. I love the name Silas and can be a great first or middle name!!
I love the name Corbin. Just a thought!! I am so happy for you both!!!
Preston Preston 🙂 Good blood :)))
Jack Phillip
Love jack and Preston!!
Ha, this is a much more diplomatic way of doing this – we almost caused a family feud with our name discussions 🙂
Evan Samuel, Samuel Evan, Benjamin Samuel, Samuel Benjamin, Samuel Jack, Jack Samuel. All are good. Or, perhaps Samuel David…or Samuel John or Richard Samuel. Spam, Spam, Eggs and Spam doesn’t have too much Span in it.
I think Jack Samuel sounds too much like Jack Daniels. Of course my name being John Daniel could also easily be confused for Jack Daniel – thanks Mom and Dad for that one.
Well, your grandpa Norm got a big kick out of the fact that we named you Jack Daniels…
So, here are the meanings of your name selections:
Samuel = Name of God, or God has heard
Benjamin = Son of my right hand
Jack = God is gracious (form of John)
Silas = Of the forest
Evan = God is gracious (form of John)
Preston = village with a priest, or held by the church
Shamus (Seamus) = He who supplants (form of Jacob, James)
Elias = My God is the Lord (form of Elijah)
Jacque(s) = Supplanter ( dirivitive of James) pronounced “zhahk”
Jordan and I both like Samuel and Preston..so we voted for both:) excited to see what you pick!!
I love love love the name Benjamin!!!!!!
I like Silas or Elias. Those are good names – good, strong, uncommon, easy to say incorrectly!
But seriously – those are good options!
I’ve gotta go with Silas and Elias – I’m not a fan of common names. I named one of my kids Matthew (simply because it was the ONLY name David and I could agree on) but at only 14-months, I’m already having to check him into the nursery as ‘Matthew H.’
Jack….of course 🙂 Love you guys!!!
I vote for Samuel Makaio.
Makaio means Gift of God and is Hawaiian.
I like Jack Adam, or Jack Aiden; Aiden is Gaelic for little fire
John Adam of course, or John Adam O’Shamus Lareau. Jeez Erin, I haven’t talked to you in so long and I’m thrilled to see your doing so well. I remember our anxiety when Adam was one week, then two weeks late! The whole process is nerve-racking. Here’s to wishing you the best and a healthy screaming baby that wakes you up every two hours! The memories will be endless but time will fly. It seems like yesterday we were in the delivery room, except yesterday he had T-Ball practice. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers and I’m excited to hear news of John Adams arrival ;~) !!!
