We’ve been happily married since 2007, and continue to love each other more each day. After a couple years of trying to conceive, in 2010 we chose to pursue adoption to start our family. The day we were turning in our adoption application, I took one last pregnancy test just to be sure we weren’t pregnant, and wouldn’t you know the test was instantly positive! Our hearts were overflowing with excitement for the miracle, but also mourning the fact that we wouldn’t be adopting the baby we had been praying and preparing for. Our son was born in June of 2011 and 19 months later in February of 2013, a baby girl was born into our family. We praise God every day for these two blessings.
God has satisfied our desire to be parents, but we still have a deep longing to adopt. After much prayer and consideration and with great delight, we’ve chosen to adopt Baby #3.
